Hello. Blue TEF without a download button, I can’t flash it. When you press start on the keyboard and then turn on the receiver, it plays, the firmware does not work. The question is when should the receiver be turned on when flashing the firmware immediately or later during the operation.

Do you have any idea how lucky you are? Here in Western Europe, medium wave is totally dead during daytime. Not a single station to be heard. Everything has been switched off and torn down.

Thanks for the upload Ive always wondered what FM dxing from Key West is like it sure is less crowded than where i live The closest i was ever able to dx was once on a cruise ship halfway between there and Havana Cuba it was interesting hearing both battle for signal strength I will post a video of it later on my UA-cam channel. do you know if bunching up the wires all in the same "bunch" would affect the antenna negatively? i meant to say to have the enamel wire together, like in a transformer, instead of separated side by side?

Please note that this is specific to receivers that have a physical boot button. There are some versions which do not have a boot button and go into boot mode automatically

On aliexpress I see these radio's with LNA version 5.0. Is that the latest upgrade ?

Mine is slightly different. Software version 2.00, TEF 6686 Lithio, Patch: v102. A long press on the middle button (MODE) allows you to change a lot of parameters including the AM step, to 10kHz for USA or 9kHz for Europe.

your inner loop is not purely in resonance with outer loop. You must add another gang capacitor with smaller loop antenna in parallel with loop and the BNC connector. First tune your SDR to a known nearest AM station. Then tune your cap of mini loop to get the signal of that station stronger. Then tune outer loop cap to make it further strong. Then again tune smaller loop antenna slightly if you get it further strong. That will be the sweet spot and both the loops will be in resonance on that very freq. Secondly try to make smaller loop antenna with thick power cable and check its inductance to be close to 204uH. Please do write about the result. Thanks.

Would you say that the SDRPlay is an upgrade on the RTL or not? So far I have the RTL and the 7100, but I was looking at upgrading the dongle to improve my receive, but if it doesn't I might save the cash. The only thing I need is a bandpass filter cuz the dongle picks up VHF signals on 18/12/10m and ruins my receive. Also the frequency offset is different for each bands which is annoying. But anyway, what says you?

Some Errors I Noticed… 93.3 was probably WERO, not W227CZ 95.7 is known as “That Station” 98.1 was WQSM, not W251CA 98.7 was WSMW at first, then switched to W254BV 99.1 was WZFX, not W256AH 100.3 was WMKS, not W262CZ But still, Nice bandscan!

96.7 was W244EI, not WBZW
